Canadian Solar Inc. announced that e-STORAGE, part of its majority-owned subsidiary CSI Solar Co., Ltd., has signed a Battery Supply Agreement and Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) with Strata Clean Energy’s White Tank Energy Storage LLC. The project involves building a 100 MW / 576 MWh DC Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Arizona, USA, with construction set to begin in October 2026. The White Tank Battery project, developed by Strata Clean Energy, will store renewable energy and supply it to Arizona Public Service (APS), enhancing grid reliability by balancing energy supply and demand. e-STORAGE, a leading global provider of energy storage solutions, will deliver, install, and manage the system using its advanced SolBank 3.0 technology. Bob Schaffeld, President of Strata Clean Energy, said in a statement, “Strata is pleased to announce the inclusion of e-STORAGE’s flexible, turnkey solutions and service support in our White Tank energy storage project. After the system is commissioned, e-STORAGE will oversee operations under a 20-year LTSA, ensuring optimal performance, regular maintenance, and smooth integration with APS’s energy grid.
