Work Detail |
Officials with the Kentucky Department of Highways District 9 office are advising motorist of lane closures next week on Kentucky 1013 in Fleming County. The work to be conducted includes embankment repairs and will require daytime lane closures over the next several weeks, officials said. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 12, as crews install soil nail supports and rock to repair several embankment failures on Kentucky 1013 between mile marker 11.8, one mile north of Goddard Road, and mile marker 13.8, one and a half miles south of Kentucky 559. During daytime work hours, one lane of Kentucky 1013 will remain open with traffic controlled by temporary signals at construction sites. Motorists should expect delays. Work will take three to four weeks to complete. Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling. |
