The launch of this initiative received an overwhelming response, with numerous women stepping forward to seize this opportunity. Following a comprehensive screening and selection process aligned with the organization’s recruitment policies, a group of exceptional women has been chosen to join the workforce across the four DISCOMs in Odisha. Through **??? ?????**, these women are not only getting a chance to restart their careers but also to make meaningful contributions to the organization and the energy sector. (A New Beginning) initiative reached a significant milestone on 8th March 2025, aligning with International Women’s Day, at a special event celebrating the successful onboarding of the newly recruited women. The event was graced by Smt. Usha Padhee, IAS, Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, and Commerce & Transport Department, Odisha, as the esteemed Chief Guest, along with several distinguished leaders from TP Odisha DISCOMs. Smt. Padhee shared her valuable insights on the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance for women employees and extended her heartfelt encouragement to the new recruits as they embark on their second careers.
