The Santa Fe government opened the bidding process for the renovation of the electrical system in the Oliveros Dr. Abelardo I. Freyre neighborhood. The project, with an official budget of $2,751,082,489.67, seeks to improve the supply and distribution of energy, optimizing the infrastructure conditions of this mental health facility. The project includes the addition of a new control and measurement booth for the medium-voltage electrical installation, as well as the construction of an internal booth with low-voltage control panels equipped with emergency power supply via generators. Concrete poles and pre-assembled cables will also be installed to distribute power to the various buildings in the complex. Exterior lighting will also be upgraded with LED technology, and interlocking concrete walkways will be built, improving internal circulation. One of the key benefits of this project is the ability to heat spaces using electric equipment, eliminating the need for bottled gas, allowing for more efficient and safer use of energy resources. Within the framework of the tender, six offers were submitted: Bauza Engineering SRL : $2,608,712,403.54 POSE SA : $3,242,398,222.33 Electroluz Projection SRL : $2,848,131,187.20 Electro Constructora SRL : $3,387,920,407.68 UT Oliveros – Pyramid Construction SA – BILDTEC SA : $2,727,610,605 COCYAR SA : $2,993,752,059.05 Authorities emphasized that this project not only represents an improvement in the buildings infrastructure but also supports the transformation of single-purpose institutions toward a community-based care model with a rights-based approach. The electrical upgrade will facilitate the Colonys daily operations and ensure better conditions for patient care and staff work. Founded in 1943, Colonia de Oliveros still retains part of its original infrastructure. The upgrade of its electrical system is part of a series of interventions aimed at modernizing the facility and strengthening the provinces mental health care network. |
