RITES Ltd has received an addendum to its contract agreement with Ntokoto Rail Holdings Pty. Ltd., awarding additional work for the supply and commissioning of overhauled in-service Cape Gauge ALCO Diesel Electric Locomotives. The upgraded locomotives will be fitted with new Cape Gauge bogies, traction motors, a control system, and an air-brake system, overhauled at a designated facility, with on-site warranty support for one year. With this expansion, the total contract value has been revised from $5.40 million (CIF) to $10.80 million (CIF), doubling the initial order size. |
