The General Company for Mining Industries, a subsidiary of Iraqs Ministry of Industry and Minerals, has announced the near-completion of a solvent production plant in Salah Al-Din province, developed in partnership with the private sector. According to Ahmed Faleh Ali, the companys Director General, the plant has reached 85% completion and is being built according to modern global standards. Once operational, it will produce 1,000 tonnes per day of white spirit, a solvent widely used as a paint thinner and cleaning agent. The project is considered strategic for Salah Al-Din, aiming to boost industrial production and meet the demand of both public and private sectors while supporting the local market. |
