Work Detail The National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) has granted authorization to the company Genneia, which is building the project in the province of Mendoza. Argentinas National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ENRE) has authorized Genneia to increase the access power to the electricity transmission capacity for the Anchoris solar park, located in the department of Luján de Cuyo, province of Mendoza. This will allow the parks nominal power to increase from 21.30 MW to 115 MW. In December, ENRE granted access to the Anchoris parks electricity transmission capacity , enabling it to connect to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) at the 33 kV level of the current Anchoris Transformer Station, under the jurisdiction of Distrocuyo. The possibility of expansion was already announced in 2017 , when the provincial government signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) through the state-owned energy producer Empresa Mendocina de Energía (EMESA) with the Compañía Administradora del Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista (CAMMESA) for the project selected by the Argentine government in Round 1.5 of the RenovAr program. At that time, it was mentioned that the project could expand its capacity to 90 MW. In 2018, Emesa sold the Anchoris I project , along with Lavalle I (17.6 MW) and Luján de Cuyo I (22 MW) - also selected in Round 1.5 - to the Coesa Group. In 2023, the Mendoza Senate granted a plot of approximately 24 hectares , located in the El Carrizal district of Luján de Cuyo, for the development of the project. That same year, it was announced that the Anchoris photovoltaic park would be built by Genneia . In February of this year, Genneia also inaugurated the 90 MW Malargüe I solar park in Mendoza , the energy companys first operational facility in the province. It is also developing another 150 MW solar plant in San Rafael.
