The agreement includes supplies to the sporting goods companys factory in the department of Chilecito. The agreement will supply 2.9 GWh annually for the next five years. Energy company 360Energy has announced the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the sports goods company Puma Argentina to supply 2.9 GWh annually to the production plant in La Rioja over the next five years. The energy will come from 360Energys solar complex located in the town of Nonogasta, Chilecito department. For Puma Argentina, this is the first PPA linked to renewable energy, while for 360Energy, it adds to others already signed. In a statement, it is explained that the Puma plant, the brands only own production plant globally, is located 200 kilometers from the 122 MW La Rioja Solar Complex, made up of the La Rioja I, La Rioja II and La Rioja III solar parks, and which 360Energy announced as completed in October of last year . 360Energy has six photovoltaic solar parks in Argentina, in the provinces of San Juan, La Rioja, and Catamarca, and a portfolio of five more projects throughout the country. The company currently claims to be expanding its operations to Brazil, Mexico, and Spain, alongside the Stellantis Group, a minority shareholder in 360Energy. Days ago, 360Energy announced the signing of a PPA for 3 GWh per year for 60 months with vineyards in the Uco Valley , in the province of Mendoza, with energy supply coming mainly from the La Rioja Solar Complex, to be used to boost irrigation water. It so happens that the complex already has several power purchase agreements with companies such as Stellantis , Acerbrag, Bridgestone, Holcim , Rehau, Estisol , Transclor and Smurfit Westrock . |
