Work Detail |
The national call for proposals will offer technical assistance to management organizations for the implementation of sustainable energy solutions that can reduce energy costs by 60%. The 30 winners will be eligible to participate in a subsequent competition to finance the implementation of the project. The Chilean Ministry of Energy has launched the Rural Solar Water program, which seeks to provide technical assistance and support to Rural Sanitation Systems (RSS) for the implementation of sustainable energy solutions. The national call for proposals aims to provide technical assistance to management organizations for the implementation of sustainable energy solutions—energy efficiency measures and solar photovoltaic systems for self-consumption—with the goal of improving energy management and reducing electricity costs by up to 60% in the operation of SSRs. The call is aimed at committees and cooperatives that manage small, medium, and large Rural Health Services (SSR) throughout the country. This call may benefit up to thirty (30) SSRs nationwide. You can apply until April 4th. If awarded any of the thirty (30) places, the SSR will receive technical advice and support to develop a comprehensive sustainable energy project up to its pre-feasibility level, with a focus on efficiency and savings, which incorporates energy efficiency measures and/or photovoltaic solar systems for self-consumption. The design of a comprehensive sustainable energy project will allow the SSR to participate in a subsequent competition to finance the implementation of the designed project. |
