The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released an update on the availability of unsold power as of March 5, 2025, under various Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) schemes. The update includes details of available capacities, discovered tariffs, and scheduled commencement dates for power supply. Under the ISTS Solar Tranche XVI scheme, SECI has 450 MW of power available. This includes 250 MW from SAEL Industries Limited and 200 MW from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, both at a discovered tariff of INR 2.48 per kWh. The scheduled supply commencement is within 24 months from the effective date of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This tranche follows the Uniform Renewable Energy Tariff (URET) mechanism. In ISTS Solar Tranche XIV, a total of 1,500 MW of power is available from multiple developers. Avaada Energy Private Limited has 300 MW at INR 2.57 per kWh, while SAEL Industries Limited offers 600 MW at the same rate. Other contributors include Engie Energy India Private Limited (100 MW), Renew Solar Power Private Limited (300 MW), and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (200 MW) with a tariff of INR 2.58 per kWh. This tranche does not follow the URET mechanism. ISTS Solar Tranche XI includes 600 MW, with Eden Renewable Cadet Private Limited offering 300 MW at INR 2.60 per kWh, Jakson Limited providing 50 MW, and Renew Solar Power Private Limited contributing 250 MW, both at the same tariff. The power supply is expected to begin within 18 months from the effective date of the PPA. ISTS Solar Tranche XV, which includes energy storage solutions, has 700 MW available. ACME Solar Holding Limited is providing 200 MW, and JSW Neo Energy Limited is offering 500 MW at a tariff of INR 3.42 per kWh. Half of the contracted capacity will be supplied during peak hours from 18:00 to 24:00. Under the ISTS Manufacturing Linked Solar Power scheme, Azure Power India Pvt. Ltd. has 967 MW available, split into 300 MW at INR 2.54 per kWh and 667 MW at INR 2.42 per kWh. Adani Green Energy Four Limited is providing 1,799 MW at INR 2.80 per kWh. The supply commencement timeline ranges from 24 to 60 months. ISTS Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) IV Scheme includes 630 MW, with providers such as Vena Energy Aura Private Limited (100 MW), Hero Solar Energy Private Limited (100 MW), JSW Neo Energy Limited (230 MW), Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited (100 MW), and Serentica Renewables India 11 Private Limited (100 MW), all at tariffs between INR 4.98 and 4.99 per kWh. The supply will begin within 24 months. ISTS Hybrid Tranche IX includes 600 MW, with Juniper Green Energy Private Limited and ACME Solar Holdings Limited providing 150 MW and 300 MW, respectively, at INR 3.25 per kWh. Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited has 150 MW at INR 3.26 per kWh. ISTS Hybrid Tranche VIII offers 1,200 MW, including contributions from Juniper Green Energy, Asurari Renewables India, AMP Energy Utility, and others, with tariffs ranging from INR 3.43 to INR 3.46 per kWh. SECI applies a trading margin of INR 0.07 per kWh over the discovered tariff for all transactions.
