IBV ACEN Renewables Asia Pte. Ltd., a joint venture between ACEN and Singapore-based ib vogt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., is in the final stages of securing a $13 million investment for multiple solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Malaysia, with a combined capacity of approximately 80 MW. According to a regulatory filing by ACEN, this investment is part of a larger commitment of up to $200 million in equity funding for the joint venture. The partnership aims to achieve at least 1,000 MW of operational capacity across the Asia-Pacific region, with further expansion opportunities. The formation of IBV ACEN Renewables was first disclosed on October 24, 2024. The company has teamed up with ib vogt Singapore to accelerate large-scale solar power developments across key markets, including Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. As it expands its renewable energy portfolio, IBV ACEN Renewables is positioning itself as a key player in the region’s clean energy transition. |
