| Work Detail | Ten La Plata County nonprofit groups each received $1,500 from proceeds of the summer Community Concert Series at The Rochester Hotel’s Secret Garden. The awarded organizations are The Riverhouse Children’s Center, Growing Partners of Southwest Colorado, Spring Creek Horse Rescue, Women’s Resource Center, La Plata Youth Services, The Durango Choral Society, La Plata County Thrive! Living Wage Coalition, Project Merry Christmas, Friends of the Durango Public Library, and 4 Corners Rainbow Youth Center. Concert series sponsors included First National Bank of Durango, Parady Financial, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Maria’s Bookshop. The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado and the Rochester Hotel assisted with the grant review and planning process. |
