Work Detail In addition to three EPC contracts, Metlen is also boosting its own investment with the Mesembria project, a 1,607 MWh battery storage system scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Greek company Metlen Energy & Metals, part of the multinational group Mytilineos Holdings, announced the signing of three EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts for solar energy and storage plants in Chile. Signed in early 2025, these are three individual EPC contracts covering the implementation of a total of 190.5 MWp of solar power capacity and over 2,500 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity. All projects are scheduled to be delivered by the first quarter of 2026 at the latest. Beyond these strategic partnerships, Metlen is also driving its own investment with the Mesembria project, a 1,607 MWh battery storage system scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025, further reinforcing its commitment to energy innovation and sustainability in Chile. In December, Metlen inaugurated two solar plants in Chile totaling 394 MW . These complete a business portfolio in Chile of 589.2 MW, by joining the Willka solar park, of 109.2 MW, inaugurated in December 2023 , located in the Arica and Parinacota region, and the Doña Antonia park, of 86 MW, in operation since last August , in the Coquimbo region.
