Work Detail | 38MW Korpilevonmaki project was completed ‘significantly faster’ than the anticipated schedule Ilmatar has started commercial production at a 38MW wind farm in Sakyla in south-west Finland. The six wind turbines in Korpilevonmaki will generate 125GWh of renewable energy annually. The Korpilevonmaki wind farm was one of the few renewable energy project investment decisions made in Finland in 2023. The park was completed “significantly faster than the anticipated schedule in just 16 months and well below budget”. Petri Ainonen, Ilmatars Director of Construction, said: “The construction of Korpilevonmäki started in late 2023. “It has been rewarding to see how careful pre-planning and project development work have borne fruit during construction. “It has also been great to follow our seamless cooperation with our partners and see how smooth stakeholder and authority work can be in Finland. “The months head start on schedule shows the importance of both excellent preparation and effective cooperation between all parties involved in the project. “Thanks for the success go especially to Ilmatars skilled and committed personnel and our excellent contractor partners. A common goal and a desire to succeed will take you far.” |
