The Solar & Storage Meet North East 2025, held at Vivanta Guwahati, Assam, marked a significant milestone in advancing the region’s renewable energy landscape. The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss the future of solar energy and energy storage in the North East. A key highlight was the panel discussions on critical topics such as regulatory changes, investment strategies, and infrastructure solutions that will drive the region’s renewable energy growth. The event commenced with insightful virtual opening remarks by Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Power & New & Renewable Energy, Government of India. He emphasized the government’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of clean energy and the pivotal role of solar and storage technologies in ensuring energy security and sustainability. The welcome remarks were delivered by Mr. Vipin Kasana, Specialist Residential Inverters (RT & RS), Sungrow, who set the stage for engaging discussions and industry insights.
