Work Detail |
Litoral Gas announced the start of construction work on the gas pipeline that will connect the towns of Albarellos, Uranga and Santa Teresa to the natural gas distribution network. In the first stage, the project will benefit 500 homes and is part of the companys Works Plan, with a total investment of 120 million dollars between 2025 and 2029. The initiative does not involve the participation of the Province, as it is financed and executed exclusively by Litoral Gas, within the framework of the Works Plan presented to the National Gas Regulatory Entity (ENARGAS) within the process of the Five-Year Tariff Review. The planned infrastructure will improve the reliability of the service and expand coverage in Santa Fe and the north of Buenos Aires. In the first phase, more than 28 kilometers of gas pipelines will be built and pressure regulating stations will be installed in each of the benefited localities. In addition, maintenance and optimization tasks will be carried out on the existing distribution network. The Albarellos-Uranga gas pipeline, in the Rosario department, will have a 13-kilometer branch that will start from the Villa Amelia-Coronel Domínguez system. In Uranga, the natural gas supply will replace the current supply with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), while in Albarellos a new pressure regulating station will be built. In Uranga, the existing regulating station will be modified to adapt it to the new system. On the other hand, the gas pipeline that will supply Santa Teresa, in the Constitución department, will be 15 kilometers long and will also include the construction of a pressure regulating station. This work will bring the service to more than 1,000 homes and businesses, starting from the existing gas pipeline on Provincial Route No. 90, in the rural area of ??Sargento Cabral, built within the framework of the previous Tariff Review. Meanwhile, the government of Santa Fe is moving forward with the tendering of five provincial gas pipelines, whose awarding of works and pipelines began between December and January, with the aim of expanding gas coverage in different parts of the Santa Fe territory. |
