Within the framework of the Green Spaces Plan 2025, the Municipality of Resistencia opened the bidding envelopes for the renovation works of the Urban Park 2 de Febrero. Ten local companies presented their offers to execute this project, which will have a budget of $1,279,307,302.89 and a term of execution of six months. The project includes interventions throughout the site, including accesses, paths, sports areas and a skate park. Printed reinforced concrete flooring will be incorporated to generate new circulations, respecting the current routes and improving accessibility with tactile tiles for people with reduced vision. Two hierarchical entrances will be the main points of entry: one at the intersection of Ávalos and Lavalle avenues, which will allow the expansion of the Monument to Immigrants and its use as a stage for commemorative events; the other, linked to the new municipal driving registry building. In addition, a sports area with exercise equipment and anti-shock flooring will be set up on Ávalos Avenue, along with two sports islands distributed in the pedestrian circuit. Among other improvements, the skate park and the sports ground will be restored for free use. In the childrens play area, new anti-shock flooring with integrated designs and colors will be installed. In the central sector of the park, a seating area equipped with furniture will be incorporated, promoting a space for meeting and recreation. The project also includes the completion of the sanitary core in the amphitheater, the renovation of the existing bathrooms, the installation of new pedestrian and general lighting, and the strategic placement of street furniture in different sectors. These improvements seek to promote the use of the park at all times and reinforce the security of the public space. |
