The Municipality held the opening of envelopes for the bidding process for the construction of the sewage network in the 10 de Junio ??neighborhood, a fundamental work for urban infrastructure. This project seeks to complete the 20 missing blocks of the neighborhood, closing a new service ring and improving the quality of life of 1,700 residents. The tender, held at the Tendering Department of the San Martín Palace, was attended by municipal officials and representatives of the bidding companies. The budgets presented were as follows: PECMA SRL : $1,193,050,927.27 VILMEY ARG SAS : $989,750,126.75 ATAK SRL : $1,086,834,626.34 ISTRIA SA : $997,782,351.97 MALVINAS TRANSPORT SRL : $1,144,319,002.50 The official estimated budget for the work is $955,191,196.63. The project includes the complete laying of the sewer network, including home connections and the installation of the collector for discharge. The city of Olavarría, currently with 65% sewer coverage, seeks with this work to continue expanding the infrastructure in a concentric manner. The tasks to be carried out include the expansion of the South Collector, connecting it with the existing chamber on Av. Pellegrini and Rendón Street. From there, the route will advance upstream to Canaveri Street and Av. Pellegrini, extending along Av. Urquiza, Laprida Street and Av. Avellaneda until reaching Saavedra Street. This intervention will guarantee better access to the service and optimize the sewage system in the area.
