Santa Fe promotes more than 80 new public works in the first four months of the year In a context of a nationwide standstill in public works, the province of Santa Fe announced the tendering of 85 new projects during the first 120 days of the year, with an estimated investment of 400 billion pesos. The initiative seeks to strengthen infrastructure in various areas and consolidate the province as a benchmark in project development and execution. Among the most notable works are the construction of the microstadiums in Santa Fe and Rafaela, the new shooting range in Recreo - planned for the 2026 South American Games -, the reactivation of work at the Southern Regional Hospital and the remodeling of the Dr. Carlos Sylvestre Begnis Southern Regional Park in Rosario. The provincial government has prioritized the execution of projects in a wide variety of sectors, including educational, health, road and sports infrastructure. In addition, flood protection works, water channeling and recreational spaces are planned, ensuring an equitable territorial distribution from the north to the south of the province. The Ministry of Public Works stressed that the ongoing tender plan represents a continuation of the effort initiated in 2024, when 88 bidding processes were carried out. This volume of investment demonstrates the provincial Executives willingness to maintain a strong pace in the execution of public works. Faced with the lack of investment in infrastructure by the national government, the Santa Fe administration is betting on an efficient management model, with a reduction in political costs and optimization of resources. While the Nation neglects road maintenance and basic infrastructure, Santa Fe prioritizes public works to improve the quality of life of its citizens, said the Ministry of Public Works. |
