Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Continuum Green Energy Limited for an EPC project involving a 40 MWhr battery storage system. The project will be set up at wind-solar hybrid sites in Gujarat, with an estimated cost of INR 40 crores. Viren Doshi, Director of Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited stated, “The said project is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy in Gujarat. By integrating these systems, we aim to provide a robust infrastructure that supports the growing demand for sustainable energy. The battery storage system will use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology with a liquid-cooled, containerized BESS solution. WRTL will execute this as a Lump Sum Turnkey Project, integrating the battery storage with the solar project. This marks a key milestone for WRTL in establishing itself as a full-fledged EPC company. |
