A US$3 billion budget is being planned for Paraguay road works.Paraguay is planning a major road expansion and upgrade programme worth US$3 billion. The plans have been drawn up by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay. The plan will be until 2028 and will see the country investing up to $5.5 billion, 4% of its total GDP, into infrastructure, including road improvements, maintenance and construction works. Other infrastructure works will include urban transport, water supply, education, housing and medical facilities. This follows on from news that a stretch of Paraguay’s PY05 will be the first section of road in the country to be built from concrete. The project is being managed by Paraguays Ministry of public Works and Communications (MOPC). The concrete road project will be carried out in two sections. |
