The Province of Santa Fe is moving forward with the repaving of important sections of Provincial Routes No. 23 and No. 39, with an investment of more than $29,000 million. The work, carried out by the Provincial Highway Directorate (DPV), includes an extension of 59.4 kilometers and includes the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of both routes, as well as a new LED lighting system in San Guillermo and Suardi. The project includes the repaving of RP No. 23 from the interprovincial border with Córdoba, passing through San Guillermo, to the intersection with RP No. 39 in Villa Trinidad. From there, the work continues along RP No. 39 to Arrufó. Polymer-modified asphalt will be used to improve adhesion and extend the useful life of the roadway. The completion period for the works will be 18 months. Vice-governor Gisela Scaglia highlighted the importance of the project for productive development and road safety in the region, while the Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enrico, stressed the need to improve the infrastructure by building strategic roundabouts.
