The Municipality of Cipolletti announced the tender for the redevelopment of Provincial Route No. 65, a key intervention to improve traffic and road safety in the connection with National Route 22. The opening of envelopes took place at the Cipolletti Cultural Complex, where the company Oscar Raúl Quidel presented a bid of $1,676,607,520.20 for the execution of the project. This work, financed entirely by the province, includes the construction of channeled intersections, the elimination of problematic accesses and the modernization of the existing road infrastructure. Among the improvements, the intervention in two critical points stands out: the intersection with Juan Domingo Perón Avenue, where four-step traffic lights and additional lanes will be installed, and the intersection with Mosconi Street and the railroad tracks, designed to optimize light traffic. The tasks will include widening of roads, improvements in sidewalks and street lighting, the installation of new dividing islands, road signs and the relocation of poles. The estimated execution period is 180 calendar days, with an official budget of $1,262,353,238.10. The mayor of Cipolletti highlighted the importance of the project for the urban and economic development of the city, emphasizing that it is part of a strategic plan in collaboration with the province. The project is expected to facilitate traffic on the Cipolletti ring road and improve the connection with other routes in the Alto Valle, allowing for orderly growth in the area.
