The Municipality of Guaymallén is moving forward with the tender for the comprehensive restoration of San Francisco del Monte Street, a key project to improve the road and service infrastructure in the area. The intervention will include the renovation of water and sewage networks, the repaving of the road, the construction of cycle paths and sidewalks, the modernization of the San Francisco del Monte canal and the installation of new LED lights. These improvements will benefit both residents and users of this road that connects the departments of Guaymallén, Maipú and Godoy Cruz. Public tender process No. 1003/25, entitled Provision of labor, equipment, minor tools and all materials for the construction of urban intervention, Stage 41, received seven offers from construction companies. The official budget amounts to $2,387,902,431.38 and the proposals include various financing alternatives and impact coefficients. The bidding companies are: Brizuela and Villafañe SRL Luis M. Pagliara SA CE.BE.CO S.A. Genco S.A. From Fré Civil Works SA Laugero Constructions SA Dynco SA – Ayfra SRL – Transitional Union The project, with an estimated investment of $2,334,347,561.99, will be carried out in stages, with the first phase, 1.5 km long, expected to be completed in one year. The project also includes the improvement of the irrigation ditch by the General Department of Irrigation and the optimization of the water and sewage network infrastructure in coordination with Aysam. The mayor of Guaymallén highlighted the importance of the work for the community, pointing out that it will contribute to the connectivity and economic development of the region. In addition, it is part of a road reorganization plan that involves the transfer of the administration of San Francisco del Monte street to the municipalities of Guaymallén and Maipú, allowing for better management of traffic and infrastructure in the urban area. This project is part of a larger initiative for the comprehensive recovery of the 7 km of San Francisco del Monte Street, ensuring progressive improvements in mobility and quality of life for the citizens of Guaymallén and Maipú. |
