The Municipality of Santa Fe and the company Red Sport will carry out the improvement of the Skatepark in the Candioti neighborhood. As part of the sponsorship agreement signed by both parties, the company agreed to provide the necessary materials for the repair of the surface of the skatepark, its painting and the installation of new elements to improve the user experience. The project includes the reconditioning of the pavement, with repair work on existing cracks and fissures, the application of a new layer of non-slip paint and the incorporation of structures to optimise the practice of skateboarding and other urban sports. These improvements seek to guarantee the safety of athletes and encourage the use of public space by the community. This initiative is part of the Social Responsibility Program of the Municipality of Santa Fe, sanctioned by Ordinance No. 11,923, which promotes cooperation between the public and private sectors for the conservation and improvement of urban spaces. Since the reactivation of the program, 18 companies and institutions have already joined the initiative. Mayor Juan Pablo Poletti highlighted the importance of this collaboration for the development of the city, stressing that the intervention in the Skatepark will allow the recovery of a key sports space for the youth of the area. For his part, the director of Red Sport, Mariano García, said that the company decided to get involved due to the deterioration of the track and the need to improve it for its safe and efficient use. With this enhancement, it is expected that the Candioti neighborhood Skatepark will regain its functionality and appeal, providing an adequate space for sports practice and community recreation. |
