The 30MW floater project, entitled Les Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion (EFGL), will have its maintenance site at Euroports’ Port-la-Nouvelle. Ocean Winds and Banque des Territoires are behind the EFGL project, which is set to deliver renewable power for over 50,000 coastal residents. It is expected the EFGL project will launch in the spring of 2025 and have an operating life of 20 years. The project will feature three Vestas V164 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 10MW. |
