The Regional Government of Lambayeque is implementing a rural electrification project in the El Sauce hamlet, located in the Motupe district, which aims to provide renewable energy through solar panels. Thus, with an investment of more than 600 thousand soles (more than 161 thousand dollars), the project will benefit 207 people in 46 homes, who have never had access to electricity. The installed photovoltaic systems include an energy storage system. Each system will consist of a solar panel mounted on a galvanized iron pole, two 100-amp lithium batteries, a charge controller, an inverter and the interior electrical installations for three lighting points and an electrical outlet. |
