Norway’s Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has secured a long-term charter deal for its 2021-built multipurpose offshore support vessel taken under management last year. The company’s subsidiary Golden Energy Offshore Management has fixed the Qingdao-built Energy Savanah to Swiss-based subsea services player Deepwave for two years. “This agreement with Golden Energy Offshore marks a significant milestone for Deepwave as we continue expanding our fleet and services,” said Walter D’Aniello, CEO of Deepwave. GEOS took on the vessel formerly known as Edda Savanah together with the sister vessel Energy Sphynx under technical and commercial management from affiliates of its two largest shareholders, Clear Ocean Partners and Pelagic Partners last October. The deal with Deepwave will see the vessel utilised for subsea duties, survey, ROV duties, trenching and general IMR work and comes with option attached to extend the charter for one more year. Meanwhile, the Energy Sphynx is fixed to Subsea 7 until mid-February 2026. |
