The Administrative Commission for the Salto Grande Special Fund (Cafesg) has announced a tender for works on the coast of Uruguay for an amount exceeding 330 million pesos. This initiative is added to those carried out during 2024, reaching a total investment of 2,324,846,993.98 pesos in the repair of schools, health facilities, patching of roads and reconditioning of rural roads. The works will focus on the departments of Federación and Uruguay, seeking to allocate the surplus funds generated by the hydroelectric complex to regional development. Repairs will be made at School No. 64 José Hernández in Federación, improvements will be made at School No. 42-Pascual Pringles in Federación and roofs will be replaced in the workshops of Technical Education School No. 2 Francisco Ramírez in Concepción del Uruguay.
