Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) has secured a ?404.4 crore contract from East Coast Railway for the Koraput-Singapur Road Doubling Project. The company received a Letter of Acceptance for the project, which involves the construction of 27 major bridges, including 22 major bridges and five road-over bridges (ROBs), along with earthworks for approach formation, protection works, and other related tasks between Tikiri and Bhalumaska stations. The project, part of the Waltair Division’s railway infrastructure expansion, is expected to be completed within 30 months. Earlier in January, RVNL bagged a ?3,622 crore contract from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for developing a middle-mile network, further strengthening its presence in the infrastructure sector. |
