In Venado Tuerto, the opening of envelopes for the bidding process for the construction of 52 houses with provincial financing took place. The event was attended by the Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enrico, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Lucas Crivelli, and the Mayor Leonel Chiarella. These houses will be built in the Cayetano Silva neighborhood and have an official budget of 5,262,037,793 pesos. In total, eight companies were presented to carry out the project, which aims to meet the citys housing demand. The housing units will consist of 39 three-bedroom homes, three adapted for people with motor disabilities and 10 compact two-bedroom homes. The urban development plan includes complete infrastructure, including pedestrian sidewalks, accessibility ramps, road network, storm and sewage drains, medium and low voltage network, a transformer substation and public lighting. This initiative is part of a comprehensive development program for the neighborhood. Mayor Chiarella highlighted the provincial governments commitment to the city and stressed that the homes are part of a broader strategy for access to housing, which includes the municipal program Nuestro Terreno, through which more than 300 lots have been raffled off. At the same event, deeds were also handed over to residents who had completed payments on their homes, guaranteeing legal security for their properties.
