The opening of envelopes for the bidding process for the construction of the new building of the Provincial Technical Education School (EPET) No. 29 of Centenario was held in an event headed by Governor Rolando Figueroa. The project will have an investment of approximately 12 billion pesos and will have a surface area of ??5 thousand square meters. During the event, the four companies that submitted bids to execute the project were announced. The projects objective is to strengthen the educational infrastructure in the town. The new EPET 29 will have 20 workshops, 10 classrooms, a SUM, laboratories and playgrounds, guaranteeing an adequate space for the technical training of students. The head of the Provincial Unit for Liaison and Execution of Projects with External Financing (UPEFE), Tanya Bertoldi, said that this work is part of the 40 thousand square meters of educational infrastructure that will be executed during the first half of 2025. For her part, the Minister of Education, Soledad Martínez, highlighted the positive impact of this project on the community and underlined the importance of reactivating previously paralyzed educational works. The mayor of Centenario, Esteban Cimolai, highlighted the importance of the joint work between the provincial government, the municipality and the educational community to carry out this initiative. The planning and execution of this work reaffirms the provinces commitment to technical education and the development of key infrastructure for the training of young people.
