The government of Santa Fe has made a historic investment of more than 9.2 billion pesos to strengthen the electrical infrastructure in the countryside. Through the Provincial Energy Company (EPE), works have been carried out in various localities, improving the quality and availability of the electrical service for agricultural producers and rural communities. Why is this investment important? A reliable power supply is essential for the development of productive activities in the field. This investment will allow: Greater efficiency in agricultural tasks: Producers will be able to use machinery and electrical equipment more efficiently, optimizing their processes and increasing productivity. Loss reduction: The new high-voltage lines will reduce energy losses, which translates into economic savings for users. Promoting rural development: A reliable electricity supply will attract new investments and promote economic growth in rural areas. What works have been carried out? During 2024, works were completed in nine localities, such as Progreso, Santo Domingo and Elisa, improving distribution and substation lines. Currently, projects are underway in another 16 localities, including the construction of a new high-voltage line between Tostado and Logroño, which will benefit more than 18,000 users.
