Work Detail Hope makes progress in solving its flooding problems After more than two decades of waiting, the city of Esperanza has taken a crucial step towards solving its flooding problems. In a historic tender, 11 offers have been submitted for the construction of the first stage of the Hohenfels Trunk Drain, a project that will benefit the West and North neighborhoods. This initiative, promoted by the provincial and municipal governments, seeks to relieve congestion in the waterways in the area and improve the quality of life of the residents. The project involves the construction of a large canal on Alem and Hohenfels streets, with a total length of 1,120 meters. Why is this work important? Recurrent flooding has been a chronic problem for Esperanza, affecting homes, businesses and the daily lives of residents. The new drainage system will allow: Reducing the risk of flooding: By increasing drainage capacity, the flooding that is so damaging to the city will be avoided. Improve quality of life: Residents will be able to enjoy a safer and healthier environment, free from flooding and its consequences.
