The Governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, together with the Vice Governor Miguel Acevedo and the acting president of the Legislature, Sergio Mansilla, evaluate the projection of the main public works for 2025. At the meeting, projects in execution and others in the formalization stage, financed with international, national and provincial resources, will be highlighted. Major works in progress Vipos Aqueduct : key to improving drinking water supply in the region. Refurbishment of Benjamín Matienzo International Airport : aims to modernize the infrastructure and enhance air connectivity. Double nomination of El Bracho – Villa Quinteros : electrical infrastructure project that will strengthen supply in the province. Paving of Route 323 : will improve road connectivity and facilitate traffic in productive areas. Benjamín Paz Prison : completion of the stage corresponding to the four modules of the establishment. Financing of the works The Governor stressed that these initiatives are financed with contributions from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), national funds and the provincial budget, which allows progress to be made on strategic projects for the development of Tucumán. Government priorities Vice Governor Acevedo stressed that the pillars of the administration are security, education and health. In line with this, work will be done to strengthen services and ensure an improvement in the quality of life of citizens. In another order, the provincial authorities addressed the problem of the usurpation of fiscal lands in El Mollar. Acevedo highlighted the measures adopted by Jaldo to guarantee respect for justice and the regularization of territorial domain, with strong actions against irregularities. Expected impact These works represent a significant advance in provincial infrastructure, with direct benefits for the population in terms of basic services, mobility, security and economic development. |
