Rachana Construction Limited (RCL) is excited to announce the development of a 25 MW solar power plant in Dharashiv, Maharashtra. This project demonstrates the company’s dedication to sustainability and innovation, marking a key step in its mission to lead in the renewable energy sector. The solar plant will generate clean energy for 25 years, reducing carbon emissions and boosting the local economy by creating job opportunities and introducing new technologies. Mr. Sujit Dattatray Mule, Managing Director of Rachana Construction Limited stated, “This project is an example of what is manifest in our vision of sustainable development aligned with international efforts against climate change, it demonstrates our single-minded dedication to innovative solutions that are guaranteed to create long-lasting value for communities and a greener future.” A cutting-edge solar power plant will use advanced PV modules and a smart monitoring system, powered by IoT and AI, to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime. The plant is expected to lower carbon dioxide emissions by 35,000 to 40,000 metric tons annually, totaling about 1 million metric tons over its lifetime—equivalent to removing thousands of cars from the roads each year. During construction, the project will create 200-300 temporary jobs for engineers, technicians, and laborers. Once operational, it will provide 30-50 permanent jobs. Local suppliers will also benefit, and improved energy infrastructure will support regional development. RCL’s expertise in large-scale projects played a key role in securing this initiative. The project is estimated to cost between ?125 and 175 crores, highlighting RCL’s financial strength and strategic vision. By focusing on renewable energy, the company is set to grow its portfolio and attract new partnerships in India and beyond. |
