This is what the National Regulatory Entity of Electricity of Argentina has decided, as requested by Vientos La Genoveva II for the entry of the San Carlos photovoltaic park, with 15 MW of installed capacity, located in the department of San Carlos, province of Salta. The National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE), through ENRE Note No. 11653049/2025, has decided to authorize access to the electric power transportation capacity that the company TRANSNOA (Electric Power Transportation by Trunk Distribution of the Northwest of Argentina) requested at the request of Vientos La Genoveva II, for the entry of the San Carlos Solar Farm Photovoltaic Power Plant, of 15 MW, located in the department of San Carlos, province of Salta. As decided by ENRE, the plant will be linked to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) in the 33 kV medium voltage network, under the jurisdiction of the Salta Electricity Distribution Company (EDESA), which will act as an additional provider of the technical transport function. The request was made last December ; the previous November, the company Vientos La Genoveva II had been authorized to enter this plant as a generating agent for the Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM). TRANSNOA operates in the provinces of Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Catamarca and La Rioja, where it operates and maintains the main distribution electricity transmission system, which includes transmission facilities with a voltage equal to or greater than 132 kV and less than 400 kV, intended to electrically link generators, distributors and large users, within the electrical region of Northwest Argentina, with each other or with the high-voltage electricity transmission system. |
