Frigerio guaranteed the continuity of public works The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, visited works on provincial roads. We are working to protect peoples lives, he stressed. The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, indicated that the works plan will be extended in the coming months to all the roads in the province. The head of the provincial Executive Power inspected the works that cover a length of 6,400 meters and extend between the bridge over the Artalaz stream and 2 de Abril street, in San José, with a connection at the roundabout where the monument to Christ is located. It is a very important project. We have discussed it countless times with José Luis (Walser), we know how important it is for the residents, and how many lives have been lost due to the negligence of a State that was not present and that abandoned this route for more than two decades, the president reflected. This is what we are doing on all the provinces routes, starting with routes 20 and 45, and we will be putting out to tender and awarding contracts for the rest of the provinces routes in the coming months. Accompanied by the Mayor of Colón, José Luis Walser; the Minister of Planning, Darío Schneider; the Secretary General of the Government, Mauricio Colello; the Deputy Administrator of Provincial Roads, Alfredo Bel; and the President of the Board of Directors of Cafesg, Carlos Cecco, the governor stressed that with the few resources we have, managing without money, our government is doing what had to be done: the minimum works essential to generate security and transitability. Regarding this last aspect, Frigerio said: “We are working to protect people’s lives and, in that sense, we cannot speculate by delaying the work for a few months; we have to act as soon as possible.” He also clarified: “When we have more resources or can obtain financing, we will improve this emergency arrangement.” For his part, Mayor Walser said that the work means a joy for the department because it was much requested and expected. He highlighted the commitment of the mayor who visited the department on other occasions: He came, he made a commitment and we fulfilled it. I think that this has an extra value for everyone, because it gives confidence to those of us who choose the public and who have political responsibilities to do everything that Entre Ríos needs. The work on the former Route 26 began on December 19 and has a 90-day execution period. The investment is 211 million pesos and is financed through the Administrative Commission for the Special Fund of Salto Grande (Cafesg), which depends on the General Secretariat of the Government. |
