Salta is on the threshold of a new technological era. The construction of the Salta Global Technology Pole, an ambitious project promoted by the provincial government, will mark a before and after in the economic and social development of the region. Located in the north of the city, this technological complex will have a modern and functional infrastructure, designed to promote research, innovation and training in various areas of knowledge. Its main components include: An educational block: Equipped with hybrid classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories and coworking spaces, this sector will be dedicated to training highly qualified professionals in areas such as IT, robotics, biotechnology and administration. An innovation block: With a focus on audiovisual production and biotechnology, this space will feature recording studios, research laboratories and pilot plants for the development of new products and processes. A governance block: It will centralize administrative activities and house offices of institutions such as CONICET, INTA and INTI, promoting collaboration between the public and private sectors. This megaproject, partly financed by a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank, has the main objective of transforming Salta into a regional benchmark in the knowledge economy.
