The province of Buenos Aires is making progress in improving the drainage system of Villa Tesei, with the aim of mitigating the flooding that affects the area. A tender has been launched for the construction of a new kilometre of drainage in the centre of the town, in order to complement the existing sanitation system and increase its capacity to evacuate rainwater. Details of the work: Location: The new pipes will be installed on República de Siria, Pilcomayo, Teniente Manuel Origone and La Patria streets. Scope: Three branches and a main conduit will be built, along with inspection chambers and connections to the existing system. Benefits: The project will improve the evacuation of rainwater, reduce the risk of flooding and improve the quality of life of residents. Business participation: Ten companies submitted proposals to carry out the work, demonstrating the private sectors interest in this project. The project is part of a broader plan to improve the water infrastructure in the area, which includes the construction of a new artery parallel to the Morón Stream.
