The envelopes with the economic offers were opened to complete the paving and complementary works on a section of Avenida Peñaloza, in the northern sector of the city of Santa Fe. The intervention covers 1,350 meters between Avenida Gorriti and Calle Chaco and is part of the Capital Agreement, an infrastructure plan that seeks to improve connectivity and urban quality in strategic areas of the city. The project, with an official budget of $3,190,292,900.55 and a 12-month execution period, has as its main focus the paving of the eastern roadway of the avenue. The new roadway will have a width of 6.60 meters and two exclusive lanes for vehicular traffic, along with parking bays to facilitate traffic management. In addition, a bicycle path will be incorporated in the central median, consolidating a space destined for sustainable transportation. To ensure the correct operation of the new infrastructure, stormwater drainage works will be carried out to mitigate flooding problems in the area and the electrical wiring will be renovated, improving both safety and urban services. These improvements will optimize vehicular and pedestrian flow, as well as offering a comprehensive solution to the problems of transitability and water accumulation in the area. Ten companies participated in the bidding process with economic offers ranging from $2,612,751,211.63 to $4,855,844,759.79. Among the outstanding proposals are Ángel Boscarino Construcciones SA, with the lowest offer; Coemyc SA, Mundo Construcciones SA and Pilatti SA, whose amounts were closer to the official budget; and other companies such as Obring SA, Luis Losi SA and Winkelmann SRL. The project is a key step towards transforming Avenida Peñaloza into a modern and efficient urban corridor, aligned with the mobility and development needs of the city.
