Arvind SmartSpaces Limited (ASL), the real estate arm of Ahmedabad-based textile giant Arvind Ltd, has announced plans to develop a ?1,350 crore industrial park spanning approximately 440 acres near Ahmedabad. The project, located on NH47 along the Bavla-Bagodara Road, will be developed under a joint development model with a 70.5% revenue share, according to an official release. Strategically situated at a tri-junction, the industrial park will connect key regions including Saurashtra, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and major ports such as Kandla, Mundra, and Pipavav. Additionally, it is located near the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and the upcoming Dholera Special Investment Region, enhancing its connectivity and appeal. Kamal Singal, Managing Director and CEO of Arvind SmartSpaces, commented, “We are excited to diversify our portfolio in Ahmedabad by adding a large industrial park. This new development further strengthens our horizontal product mix, bringing our total projects in the Ahmedabad region to about 77 million square feet. The industrial park development market in Ahmedabad presents a substantial opportunity, and we are poised to lead in this segment.” Singal also highlighted the company’s ongoing business development success, noting that the cumulative new business development topline potential for the current year exceeds ?3,850 crore. The company plans to expand its projects in key markets such as Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad in the coming quarters. The proposed industrial park is expected to be one of the largest in Gujarat, featuring an integrated ecosystem designed to foster industry growth. Planned infrastructure includes a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems, labor and executive housing, a weighbridge, logistics zones, and more. |
