A new kindergarten for Santa Fe, designed for the future The government of Santa Fe has announced the construction of a new kindergarten in the Favaloro neighborhood, with innovative features that make it a model for the future of early childhood education. This project, conceived as a response to the needs arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, prioritizes the health and well-being of children, as well as the flexibility and adaptability of educational spaces. Highlights of the new garden: Innovative design: The building will have four interconnected classrooms, each with its own bathroom, which will allow for greater flexibility in the organization of activities and better adaptation to the needs of different age groups. Priority on health: Special emphasis has been placed on ensuring good ventilation, natural lighting and the installation of solar panels and rainwater collection systems, which contribute to creating a healthy and sustainable environment. Flexible spaces: Learning spaces are designed to be versatile and adaptable to different types of activities, allowing for greater interaction between children and encouraging active learning. Capacity: The garden will have capacity for around 80 children per shift, divided into rooms for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. The construction of this new kindergarten represents an important step towards the modernization of early childhood education in Santa Fe. By incorporating the latest trends in architectural design and best pedagogical practices, the aim is to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for children.
