Trinasolar has earned TÜV Rheinland’s highest AA rating for its photovoltaic (PV) supply chain traceability, which spans every stage from polysilicon to modules. This certification recognizes the company’s efforts in enhancing transparency and reliability throughout its entire supply chain. It also highlights Trinasolar’s strong supply chain management system, reassuring both customers and investors. TÜV Rheinland conducted an on-site audit of Trinasolar’s supply chain traceability processes. The audit thoroughly evaluated the company’s supply chain policies, system functionality, and execution. It aimed to ensure that the materials used in production meet the necessary quality standards. The rating system has five levels, and Trinasolar achieved the AA rating across all critical segments, including polysilicon, ingots, wafers, cells, and modules. Xia Bo , Senior Vice President of TÜV Rheinland’s Product Division for Greater China, stated “Strong supply chain traceability is a key indicator of transparency and reliability. Trinasolar has become the first in the industry to achieve the highest rating across the entire chain from polysilicon to modules, demonstrating its exceptional supply chain management capabilities.” Du Qingguo, Vice President of Trinasolar and Head of Quality Process Digitalization, mentioned “Trinasolar has long been committed to building a high-quality supply chain management platform, systematically managing suppliers at all levels and encouraging continuous improvement in their performance. Through close collaboration with Global Customer Service, IT, Smart Manufacturing departments, and upstream and downstream partners across the PV supply chain, the company has established a comprehensive traceability mechanism, setting a milestone for supply chain traceability in the PV industry.” Trinasolar is actively working on improving its supply chain by offering training courses to its employees, helping them enhance their supply chain management skills. A strong supply chain traceability system not only ensures high quality control but also makes projects more likely to receive bank financing.
