Hartek Group’s C&I Rooftop Solar business unit has secured an 8 MW solar EPC contract from Kandhari Beverages Private Limited, a key bottling plant for Hindustan Coca-Cola. Once completed, this will be the largest rooftop solar installation in Jammu & Kashmir. The project is currently underway and is set to be commissioned this quarter. It is expected to significantly boost the region’s renewable energy capacity while reducing the facility’s energy costs by generating approximately one million units annually.
Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director & CEO, Hartek Group, stated “This remarkable 8 MW system is setting the standard for sustainable industrial development in Jammu & Kashmir, not merely powering a building. Our C&I rooftop solar business unit will continue to partner with leading Industries to meet their sustainability & net zero goals.”
Hartek has successfully secured its third project with Kandhari Beverages in just two years, taking their total solar installations for the company to 14 MW. This ongoing collaboration highlights Hartek’s strong execution capabilities and the trust of satisfied customers. The project will be delivered as a complete turnkey solution, covering engineering and design, procurement of solar modules, inverters, and other equipment, as well as testing, commissioning, and one year of operations and maintenance (O&M).
