Work Detail Arctech, a global leader in solar tracking and racking solutions, has announced a major partnership with NORINCO International, part of China North Industries Corporation. Under this agreement, Arctech will supply its advanced 1P single-axis solar tracking system, the SkyLine II, for a 125 MW solar project located near Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This marks a key milestone for Arctech’s expansion in the European solar market. Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Southeastern Europe, enjoys an average annual solar radiation of around 1,500 kWh/m², making it an ideal location for large-scale solar projects. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) estimates that the country has the potential to generate up to 3 GW of photovoltaic power by 2030. Supporting this growth, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Energy Framework Strategy 2035 has laid out clear goals to increase the share of renewable energy in the national power mix. Arctech has been operating in Europe since 2013, with its first local office in Madrid, Spain. Over the years, it has strengthened its presence by setting up a service center, regional headquarters, and R&D facility in Madrid, as well as a warehouse in Valencia. In November 2024, the company opened its new European headquarters in Madrid, further enhancing its ability to deliver tailored solutions for the European market. Arctech now provides end-to-end services, including project design, support, delivery, and operation and maintenance (O&M), ensuring efficient execution and contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals. In addition, NORINCO International highlighted Arctech’s innovative and reliable products, global service excellence, and robust supply chain as key factors in their decision. With extensive experience in large-scale solar projects worldwide, Arctech brings a proven track record that reinforces confidence in this partnership.
