Progress has been made in the bidding process for two important infrastructure projects in San Juan: the construction of a Community Integration Center (CIC) in the Sierras de Marquesado neighborhood and the renovation of public lighting on Ignacio de la Roza Avenue. The opening of the envelopes, corresponding to Public Tenders No. 11/2024 and No. 15/2024, will allow the start of both projects at the beginning of 2025.
The CIC in the Sierras de Marquesado neighborhood, located in La Bebida, Rivadavia, will have a surface area of ??512.41 m² and will be built with a traditional and earthquake-resistant system, seeking to offer a safe and durable space for social and educational activities in the community. Eight proposals from construction companies were received for this project.
The renovation of the public lighting on Avenida Ignacio de la Roza (Provincial Route No. 12) will cover a 5.5 km stretch, from Calle Morón to the Jardín de los Poetas. 359 LED lights will be installed on metal columns with concrete bases. The lighting system will have unidirectional and central double-arm lighting, as well as control and protection panels, improving visibility and safety on this important road.
The official budget for the renovation of the street lighting is $615,826,800, with a deadline of 180 days. Four proposals from construction companies were received for this project.
In summary, two important works were put out to tender: a 512.41 m² CIC in the Sierras de Marquesado neighbourhood, built using a traditional and earthquake-resistant system, which seeks to solve the lack of an adequate community space; and the renovation of public lighting in a 5.5 km section of Avenida Ignacio de la Roza, with the installation of 359 LED lights and control systems, seeking to improve road safety. Eight and four proposals were received from construction companies respectively for each project. |
