Work Detail |
The province of Santa Fe, within the framework of the Rosario Agreement, begins the remodeling of Ayacucho Avenue in the city of Rosario, with an investment of more than $15.5 billion. The project seeks to improve road connections, expand vehicle capacity and add a north-south lane in a key section of the city. The work will focus on the section of Ayacucho Avenue that runs from Bv. Seguí to Uriburu, with interventions that extend from Lamadrid to Bv. Seguí. A 15-metre-wide concrete road will be reconstructed, with two-way traffic, including complementary works such as drainage, architecture, traffic lights, lighting, signage and landscaping. From a construction point of view, the existing asphalt layers on granite will be demolished and the structures that interfere with the project will be removed. Excavation work, subgrade preparation, base construction and the execution of the new concrete roadway will be carried out, in addition to the necessary asphalt transitions. The existing chamber covers will also be relocated and the public service installations affected by the construction will be relocated. The sidewalks will be adapted to make the ramps compatible with the new pavement level and the pre-existing concrete vehicle accesses will be replaced. As for complementary works, drains and conduits for the drainage system will be built, connecting them to the existing infrastructure. Accessibility ramps for people with reduced mobility will be built on the corners and a cycle path will be implemented on the road, improving urban mobility and accessibility. This remodeling seeks to solve road connection problems and traffic congestion in one of the main arteries of Rosario, improving traffic flow and road safety. The project is part of the Rosario Agreement, a plan of 35 works that the provincial government will execute in the city until 2027. The news does not mention specific companies that have submitted bids. |
