Summary: Renovation of the 9 de Julio Building The historic 9 de Julio Building in San Juan is preparing for a major transformation. After several years of inactivity, this emblematic building is undergoing renovation to once again become a nerve centre of judicial activity in the province. Details of the work: First stage: The first phase of the work will focus on putting the buildings basic services into operation, such as the water, electricity, air conditioning and security systems. Sustainable technology: Innovative technologies will be implemented to optimize water and energy consumption, such as grey water reuse systems and intelligent lighting and air conditioning programming. Execution period: The work has an estimated completion period of one year. Cost: The total investment for this first stage amounts to almost 8 billion pesos. Objectives: Once the first stage is completed, it is planned to move the Labor, Family and Civil courts, as well as the Womens Office and the Judicial School, to the building.
