Nordex has received orders totalling 259 MW from four customers in Spain. The projects involve installing 42 turbines, comprising 27 N163/5.X, 13 N163/6.X, and 2 N149/5.X models. The contracts also include turbine servicing agreements with terms ranging from ten to 25 years, depending on the project. The wind farms will be located in Castilla y León, Navarra, Andalusia, and Aragón. Installation of the turbines, which will be mounted on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 105 to 119 metres, is scheduled to begin in autumn 2025, with commissioning expected by the end of that year. |
